Quality Time In His Presence
Several parishioners of CCC have shared with me of their experiences in the Presence of the Lord during our 21 Day Consecration. The Lord grant the answers to every prayer prayed during the Consecration. In the face of all that we’re seeing in our generation we need prayer now and after the 21 Day Consecration. I pray that the partners of Calvary Christian Center appreciated the opportunity to spend quality time with the Lord especially in respect to each parishioner’s personal relationship with the Lord. No one can spend time with the Lord in His Presence and not be touched by His love, His grace, and His mercy. If we spend quality time in His Presence, with a sincere heart, then He will rub off on us and the more we become like Him. Again, the more we spend quality time with our God, with a sincere heart, the more He will rub off on us. When I say “rub off on us” I mean that we take on His character in love, faith, and holiness. We become more like Him. These will be demonstrated in our actions, love in action, faith in action, and holiness in action. We are transformed into the image of His Son. “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren,” Rom. 8:29 (KJV). To be more like Jesus should be the desire of every Believer. Again, this is implied in 1 Jn. 4:17 (KJV): “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” This is the result of much prayer and a lifetime pursuit after God, not just during a 21 Day Consecration or any short term period of seeking after Him. It’s a lifetime pursuit of a personal relationship with the Father of spirits in knowing Him, pleasing Him, being filled with His Spirit and His Word, loving what He loves and hating what He hates. “2019, The Year of Faith!”
