Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, 11-8-26
The Word of God reveals what transpires in the last days and I’ve already mentioned some of those signs of the times such as men departing from the faith, deception in the land, false prophets, the spirit of anti-Christ, not to mention there will be a form of godliness, yet denying the power of the gospel free course in their lives. Also there seems to be a hint to labor issues between workers and their employers as mentioned in James 5:1–9 (KJV): Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you. 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. May God prepare His Church to be able to fill the gap that is caused by men of greed, drunk with power and influence, blinded by their disregard for their fellow man, without compassion, or empathy, but cruel, hard-hearted, self-serving, self-centered, and selfish whose god is their money when the Creator of all things said in Exodus 20:3–6 (KJV): 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Psalm 37:1–2 (KJV)
1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers,
