Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, 10-18-26
The Word of God reveals His salvation plan for all them that will believe, and accept His conditions that if a man shall confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Salvation for the total man, spirit, soul, and body. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV): 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In order that we maximize our potential in the earth we must understand the principles that govern the spiritual and natural realms. Once we learn these principles and practice them, we will receive the blessing. God’s will is that we walk in our covenant rights that Jesus so willingly gave His life, enduring the cross, despising the shame, that you and I might be free. Isaiah 53:4–5 (KJV): 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, And carried our sorrows: Yet we did esteem him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon him; And with his stripes we are healed. It is the will of God that we walk in the blessings, spirit, soul, and body, or He would have told us different. I choose to believe whatsoever God says. Whatever He says I can have, I can have it. Wherever He says I can go, then I can go. Whatever God says I can do, I can do, and whatever God says I can be, then I can be. Jesus said that not one jot or tittle of His Word will fail. That means not the smallest part of God’s Word will fail. Everything is failing, but the Word of God. Our responsibility is to receive the blessing that God may be glorified. He is glorified when men see our good works. Let our lives glorify He who deserves all of the praise, and all of the glory, and all of the honor, in Jesus name.

Deuteronomy 8:3 (KJV)
