Don’t Be Deceived
Don’t be deceived by Satan and his demonic influence in these last days even if it means standing alone. The great falling away has already begun and a sure sign that you are getting caught up in the snowball effect in this age is a lack of spiritual hunger for the things of God, no prayer life, dropping off in your Church attendance, not studying the Word of God, not walking in love but an increase of the works of the flesh being manifested in your life. You know the great delusion is affecting you when you begin losing your zeal, your fire, your enthusiasm, your personal relationship with the Lord is not where it once was. When little things agitate you that you at one time had gotten victory over, that’s a good sign that you need to sit up straight and pay attention to what’s going on with you spiritually. It’s not like you to get mad at the drop of a hat. You know it’s not like you to hold a grudge for any little reason, hold on to unforgiveness, don’t speak to people, even if they have done you wrong, or being so sensitive that you get offended about every little tiny thing. You can’t ever lean to your flesh but lean and depend on God. We have His Spirit on the inside of us and He will help us if we let Him. But when we begin to lean to our own understanding becoming selfish and self-centered we too become a part of an end time culture that has fallen away from its Creator. “Accordingly then, let us not sleep, as the rest do, but let us keep wide awake (alert, watchful, cautious, and on our guard) and let us be sober (calm, collected, and circumspect). For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night. But we belong to the day; therefore, let us be sober and put on the breastplate (corslet) of faith and love and for a helmet the hope of salvation,” 1 Thess. 5:6-8 (Amplified Bible). Keep the Vision Alive!
