Stop And Give God Praise
You know, sometimes we get so caught up in the forefront of this spiritual battle that we need to stop and just lift our hands and tell God “Thank you!” We have much more going for us than what is going up against us. It is good to give thanks unto the Lord for He is good and His mercy endureth to all generations. Then too, praise and thanksgiving keeps us focused on the positive, the things of faith, and does not give the enemy place because our minds are occupied with offering unto Him the sacrifice of praise. Thanksgiving boosts our faith as our minds are stayed on Him. As we make our boast in the Lord we are giving Him the rightful place in our lives that He gets the glory thats due unto His name. Thanksgiving is a kind of humbling because we are acknowledging that God is priority in our lives and we certainly know where our help comes from. Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above from the Father of lights without whom we could do nothing. Hallelujah! Father we thank you and we give you praise! Our help comes from you Lord who made Heaven and earth. You are our hope, and our salvation. In you will we trust. Apart from you we could do nothing, but with God all things are possible that you say is possible. For who you are to us we want to take this time to just say “Thank you!” You are our Light and the God of our salvation, our Strong Tower, and our Rock. The name of the Lord is a strong tower and the righteous run into and we are safe. You are the Lifter of our heads and who shall we be afraid? There is none like you. We love you and there’s none before you. Let our deeds glorify your name and our actions reflect your glory. Let our lights shine before men that they may see our good works and glorify our Father which is in Heaven. If we had ten thousand tongues we would praise you with every one and still not be enough. We are a blessed people and have so great an inheritance for ourselves and our children. Your love is greater than them all and has changed our lives. We can’t even fathom the depths of your goodness nor the heights of your mercy but we will praise you O’ God, for you are worthy to be praised. Thank you Lord .
