By His Grace
This week I met with CCC’s Brd. Of Dir. and CCC’s Medical Emergency Response Team to follow up on our previous meetings addressing the Covid-19 situation and the status of our ministry as it relates to when we will again look to re-open worship services. We are aware that across the U. S. that COVID-19 cases and deaths are dropping, but in the southern states, we are still at very high numbers and the percentage of people getting vaccinated in Camden County and Glynn County areas are still less than 50% in the Camden County area and just above that in the Glynn County area, therefore we’ll still remaining at the present status which is stage 2 of our COVID-19 protocol which is only having essential functions at the Church for necessary operations for the business of the ministry. We will continue to meet monthly and assess the situation accordingly. I have suggested that we look forward to no later than the beginning of 2022 for the re-opening of worship services to set a realistic goal that we can plan for and look forward to achieving in a reasonable amount of time. In the meantime, I am planning to have a virtual communion service whereas the Partners of CCC can meet with me via Zoom and have their own items for the communion service such as grape juice and saltines to represent the cup and the bread and we will obey the Lord together in the keeping of the communion service in remembrance of Him. I will be communicating the information for that communion service soon. I want to thank all CCC Partners for your prayers and continued support for myself, First Lady, and the ministry here at Calvary Christian Center. I am thankful to God that though we have had several of our Partners to have been attacked with the COVID-19 virus we haven’t had any of our Partners suffer any further than that. For that, I give God all of the praise, glory, and honor. It’s by His grace that we have gotten this far and by His grace we will continue. I am thankful as well for those of you who work behind the scene, the silent warriors, who keep the ministry going. Your labor of love will never be forgotten and we thank God for the ministry of helps in the local Church. More than anything we give God the glory!
