Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, 10-5-25
Vision will change you in ways that you never expected because it places a demand on your being that can be life changing. When you put your whole heart into something, your total person spirit, soul, and body, can become immersed in it. God gives us vision because life is so awesome when we begin to experience it’s hidden rewards just enough to stir up our creativity. Then, God blesses us to share in the joy of the blessings when those hidden jewels are revealed, and we too share in the achievement of discovering them. Vision tugs at our creativity, potential, and abilities. We have not tapped into all that God have for them that believe. Our visions for our personal lives are intertwined with the grand vision from Heaven and the sooner we receive that revelation the sooner we walk into all that God have for our lives. Throughout the Word of God, we see the connection with personal vision and the greater scheme of things. God reveals His will to men and then it’s up to us to believe that what God have revealed to us, He is well able to perform. Romans 4:17–21 (KJV): 17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. When vision is embraced, deadlines are met, programs start on time, there’s excitement in the air, and energy abounds because all hearts are on bringing the vision to pass all to the glory of God.
